Today, Adrienne and Shannon are joined by special guest, Richard Capriola. Richard has been a mental health and substance use counselor for over two decades. He recently retired from Menninger Clinic in Houston Texas, where for over a decade he treated adolescents and adults diagnosed with mental health and substance use disorders.

Adolescent substance use is an alarming problem impacting thousands of families! It’s important that parents know the warning signs, understand how drugs work in the teen brain, and know the treatment options available, to feel more confident and less afraid of this critical issue.
